Assigned Department Objectives
Teaching Method
Outline:
In this course, through the design of a relatively simple facility used by a large number of people, the student will acquire the ability to read the site context and understand the basic design process. In addition, the instructor currently presides a design office and will use his experience, to tutor the students on the latest design methods in the form of exercises on the most recent design methods.
Style:
The student will learn step by step the designing process, starting with a site survey, making of site model and volume model, a study of function and space composition, a review of the details, and the production of drawings and models, and final presentation.
Notice:
This course requires 90 hours of self-study time. The students are required to read the textbooks carefully and proceed systematically and respect the assignments submission deadline. To visit buildings and read books related to the assigned facility. Use tools suitable for design drafting, such as sketchbooks, and tracing papers.
