到達目標

At the completion of this course students will have developed their ability to think and communicate in English. Speaking fluency will have improved as well as the confidence to communicate in English about difficult topics including technology, the environment, food and health. Student's working vocabulary will have improved as well as their knowledge of lexical rules.

教育方法等

概要:
To develop English speaking fluency and improve student's vocabulary and knowledge of word forms (noun, verb, adverb, adjective forms) lexical rules including synonyms, antonyms and collocations.
授業の進め方・方法:
This is a STUDENT centred class, not a teacher centred class. Students will be responsible for their own learning and will be required to fully participate in every class and all activities. There will be minimum input from the teacher in order to encourage maximum output from the students. There will be homework which students are required to complete to use in the next lesson so failure to complete the homework will mean the student can not participate in the following lesson and so participation points will be subtracted.
All students must bring their textbook, an English-Japanese dictionary, complete all homework. A positive attitude to actively learn and participate in the lesson and activities is necessary.
